On September 10, Oriflame held an event at Loft, where the Stylist of the Russian TV program “Fashion Verdict” Nikolay Ovechkin, and the winner of “H&M design competition” designer Eddy Anemian talked about the latest fashion trends and their personal accomplishments.
After struggling to present himself in Armenian, Eddy Anemian apologized to the audience and continued his speech in English through an interpreter. Starting from his study place- La Cambre School in Brussels – he told us how he decided to participate in an annual design championship launched by the Swedish company H&M. It is known that the winner of the Annual Award gets a $50.000 cash prize and an opportunity to present his/her collection at Mercedes-Benz Stockholm Fashion Week. It was announced that Eddy Anemian became the winner of the retailer’s third annual design award with his 10-piece collection that will be out globally in H&M on October 23. Besides winning this competition, Eddy Anemian also worked with Balenciaga and another big fashion house –Dior.

For now, he works on his personal collection in Paris. He was told that his collection would be a great sample for Haute Couture. However, Eddy Anemian does not want to continue his career by creating only high-fashion clothes. He definitely has a clear understanding of his goals. This was his second visit to Armenia, and he looks forward to exploring his Armenian roots.
